theory and context

The noitulovE was an advert from Guinness that was released on the 3rd of October in 2005. The Guinness noitulovE advert is aiming at a specific group of men that are in early 20s and would be in late 30s that are working class men. The reason I would believe that Guinness would want to aim at that group is that men that age would be working and they would normally be at pubs and they would want men to be drinking their drink. This is because they are also semi and unskilled workers that would come to the pub after a long day of work and would want a refreshing drink to clear their mind of work and to relax them. Guinness is much known in England but mainly In Ireland because the man Arthur Guinness was the one who originated it. Guinness is one of the most successful beer brands worldwide as it has brewed over 50 countries and over 120 countries. The drink is very popular with the Irish as it’s still the best selling alcoholic drink in Ireland. The slogan for Guinness Is ‘Good things comes to those who wait’ which would used in everyday life.
